
Sales Support Engineer II

Description of Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Partner with Project Managers and Regional Sales Manager’s on inside sales duties for the preparation of turnkey projects and non-standard grinding machines
Develops technical presentations for potential customers
Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of own firm's and vendor production and delivery schedules
Maintains up-to-date awareness of company activities, industry trends and government regulations that effect schedules
Prepares reports of business transactions and keeps expense accounts
Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database
Attends trade shows
Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience in Related Field, Skills, etc.):
Bachelor's degree or equivalent training and 3-7 related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Demonstration professional verbal and written communication across all levels
Possess excellent analytical, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Experience working in a fast-paced environment, and ability to multitask while adapting to shifting priorities working on tight deadlines
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area circumference, and volume
Preferred Qualifications (Certificates, Training, Licenses, and Experience):
Basic accounting knowledge
Basic knowledge of SAP
Other (Supervisory Responsibilities, Physical Demands, Travel):
This position may require periodic overnight domestic and international travel
