Benefits:
For employees contracted for 30 hours per week or more, Thomas MacLaren School pays 100% of base insurance premiums (Health, Dental, Vision, Long‑term & Short‑term disability, Accidental Death & Dismemberment insurance, and Life insurance) for the base level coverages. No benefits for less than 30 hours.
General Purpose To support the communication, marketing, and enrollment processes for the school.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Help produce all school publications.
Format and send out communications.
Generate and post regular social media content.
Assist in creating and publishing the school directory.
Capture key school events and photo opportunities.
Maintain organization of the school photo collection.
Support marketing events.
Collaborate on the creation and design of communications and marketing materials for the school.
Support functionality, efficiency, security, and ease of use of the school website for all users.
Manage access rights for users.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to keep website content current and consistent with school branding.
Audit the website quarterly to ensure compliance, update directory and content, fix broken links, and remove expired content.
Communicate with leadership to maximize the potential use of the website for the school community.
Conduct annual usability tests with outside testers.
Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.
Qualifications
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to meet competing deadlines.
Understanding and passion for Thomas MacLaren School’s mission and vision.
Excellent proofreading skills.
Education High School Diploma.
Experience Knowledge of various word processing programs; experience with Constant Contact and graphic design software is a plus.
Physical Requirements Light physical activity, mild cold or heat, normal vision and hearing, walking on uneven surfaces, and other typical duties. No heavy lifting over 30 lb.
