Senior Analyst, Business Analytics - Automation

Position Summary This role owns measurement for the Service Ops Plan Sponsor Services COE Automation and AI Enablement team portfolio—defining and tracking KPIs, evaluating the performance of automation efforts, and reporting ROI.

Key responsibilities

Define, operationalize, and maintain KPIs for automation and AI enablement initiatives (value, adoption, quality, speed, reliability)

Establish baselines and measurement plans for new automations to ensure performance is comparable over time

Evaluate automation performance by tracking outcomes vs targets, identifying variance drivers, and surfacing improvement opportunities

Quantify and report ROI (e.g., cost savings, capacity release, cycle‑time reduction, error reduction) with clear assumptions and traceable logic

Build and maintain dashboards and recurring reporting for operational and leadership audiences; ensure reporting is accurate, consistent, and easy to consume

Translate ambiguous business questions into structured analyses, clear recommendations, and decision‑ready narratives

Partner with Service Ops, automation/AI builders, and enterprise data teams to source data, validate definitions, and improve data quality

Document metric definitions, calculation logic, and refresh cadences to improve consistency and auditability

Support pilots/experiments by defining success measures, tracking results, and turning learnings into scalable measurement approaches

Required Qualifications

4+ years of experience in business analytics, data analytics, or equivalent experience

Strong data wrangling skills; comfort working with large, potentially messy datasets across multiple teams and functions

Hands‑on dashboarding and reporting experience

Demonstrated experience defining KPIs and building ROI/performance measurement that stands up with senior stakeholders

Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to present insights to non‑technical audiences

Strong attention to detail in definitions, documentation, and repeatable reporting

Preferred Qualifications

Experience measuring automation (RPA/workflow) and/or AI initiatives, including ROI methodology and benefits tracking

Service operations or enablement analytics experience

Education

Bachelor's degree preferred

Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is:

$46,988.00 - $112,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full‑time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short‑term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
