Traffic Control Designer Duties Include But Not Limited To
Develop work area traffic control plans which meet customers work zone and project phasing requirements and determine if permit services are required
Submit plans to city/controlling agencies for review and approval as required
Coordinate for permit services as required per customer
Attend meetings with customer and city/controlling agencies
Revise plans per city/controlling agency’s direction
Manage multiple projects for timely completion meeting contractor’s schedule
Review and advise on traffic plan drawings
Log and track plans in Excel
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Ability to multi‑task, work under pressure and meet deadlines
Displays organizational skills
Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally
Exhibits problem‑solving skills
Results oriented
Computer skills
