What do our Pest Control Consultants do? The primary purpose of the role is to sell Pest Control and product services to new and existing residential customers while maintaining customer‑focused service.

You are the face of our national brand and will protect homes and families by assessing needs and consulting with customers.

Responsibilities

Visually inspect homes for pests, harborage, and entries; based on findings sell pest control solutions and preventative maintenance.

Collaborate with Customer Service Center, Inside Sales, and Technicians for increased opportunities.

Partner with Branch Manager to identify revenue streams, develop proposals to resolve pest issues and propose enhancements.

Complete home diagram in Sales CRM to ensure clear understanding of customer home and challenges.

Follow up on past proposals to close sales opportunities.

Provide expert knowledge to new installations to ensure job is completed satisfactorily.

Complete daily activities and report sales performance using the company sales CRM.

Essential Job Functions

Move up to 10 lbs. regularly and 11‑20 lbs. frequently (lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling).

Move around: sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling; navigate stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, poles; maintain balance on narrow, slippery or moving surfaces.

Handle various pests and work in small spaces such as basements, crawl spaces, attics.

Operate motor vehicle safely and keep vehicle and equipment clean.

Wear PPE (OSHA‑compliant respirator) as needed; work in confined spaces or narrow aisles.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Valid driver’s license in current state of residence (company vehicle and gas card provided).

Strong social, customer‑service, and communication skills; experience or training in sales preferred.

Prefer at least 1‑2 years of pest technician or sales experience.

Travel up to 100% of time within assigned territory(s).
