Cabinet Peaks Medical Center is seeking a Full-Time Foundation Executive Director and Marketing Assistant!

The Foundation Executive Director is a leadership role responsible for elevating CPMC’s foundation’s brand, mission, and visibility to drive philanthropy and community impact. Part of the leadership team, this role plans, leads, and manages all strategic internal and external communications and marketing functions to support the foundation’s mission.

Marketing Assistant provides operational, administrative, and creative support to this role to execute marketing strategies. Provides day-to-day operational support to the marketing department, ensuring the execution of strategies defined by the Marketing Manager, such as database management, content posting, and event logistics.

Executive Director of Foundation – Major Job Duties & Responsibilities

Directs and supervises all business operations of the Foundation, including confidential reports and maintenance of current and future donor records. Builds and maintains relationships with the Foundation Board, Medical Center Administration, and Board of Trustees.

Coordinates and is responsible for annual fundraising events and donor appreciation dinner, while also attending community functions to establish relationships with constituents and potential medical center supporters in conjunction with Foundation.

Works in alignment with administration to develop an annual fundraising plan, which may include events, annual pleas, and other philanthropic based efforts.

Develop and execute annual communication and marketing plans, including budgets, key performance indicators (KPIs), and goals for the Foundation.

Act as the brand steward to ensure consistent voice, mission, and vision in all communications, print, and electronic pieces for the Foundation as directed by the Foundation Board.

Oversee the development of digital media, social media, websites, newsletters, and annual reports for the Foundation as directed by the Foundation Board.

Serve as the main contact for media inquiries and proactively manage media relations for the Foundation.

Supervise, coach, and develop volunteers for the Foundation events.

Plan and execute fundraising events, such as celebrations of giving, donor appreciation, Paint it Pink, Gala, and other events for the Foundation.

Marketing Assistant – Major Job Duties & Responsibilities

Assist the marketing manager with updating and creating content for the website, blog, and social media channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram).

Assist the Marketing Manager in the planning, promotion, and execution of marketing events.

As directed by the Marketing manager, maintain marketing databases and customer relationship management (CRM) systems (e.g., Salesforce, Raiser’s Edge). Assist in grant writing when necessary.

As directed by the Marketing Manager, draft and design marketing collateral, such as flyers, brochures, and email newsletters (using tools like Canva or Adobe Suite).

As directed by the Marketing manager conduct market research, track campaign performance, and create analytics reports.

Schedule 40 hours per week, as position dictates.

Educational Requirements

BS degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

Applicable license for technical area is preferred.

Experience

Prior experience in technical area is preferred.

Prior management/leadership experience is strongly preferred.

Prior fundraising experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.

Document history of successful fundraising and event coordination.

Certified Fundraising Executive Certification is preferred.

Grant writing experience is preferred.

Skills, Knowledge, Abilities

Ability to demonstrate competency performing all essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Knowledge of foundation donating and fundraising required.

Knowledge of community relations required.

Skilled in creating organizational publications and advertising required.

Knowledge of event planning required.
