Lead Customer Service Rep

Responsibilities

Perform all job duties/essential job functions for position of Customer Service Representative.

Demonstrate skill in selling products and services to each prospective customer inquiring about the Center, and can quantify and teach these skills.

Responsible for cash management including accepting cash, check and credit payments for center services and for end‑of‑day cash drawer balance.

Supervise sales activities, assist customers and communicate information to CSRs as directed by the Manager.

Respond to customer complaints in a professional, courteous manner and act to satisfactorily resolve the problem, at the direction of the Manager.

Train Customer Service Representatives, including but not limited to Associate Certification Training, at the direction of Management.

Assist Management with administrative duties, including but not limited to financial reports, computer reports, balancing cash drawer.

Act as key holder, opening and closing center as directed.

Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the lobby and front desk areas.

Complete all required training and attend training sessions as needed/assigned.

Respond to computer reservation system questions or problems and report them to Manager or contact IT support.

Manage retail inventory if assigned.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent.

Proven track record as a Best Friends Customer Service Representative.

Customer Service Associate Certification.

Personal

Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Must have excellent telephone skills.

Ability to think clearly and quickly to resolve problems.

Must possess a love of animals.

Displays a professional manner at all times.

Physical

Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Must be able to frequently lift 40 pounds.

Must be able to be on feet eight hours per day and be able to stand, walk, and climb stairs frequently.

Must be able to utilize multi‑line telephone and work on a computer system.

Must be able to handle dogs on leashes.

Must be able to work in an environment with exposure to disinfectant/sanitation chemicals, animal dander, and excretions.
