Activities Director Qualifications & Responsibilities
Bachelor's Degree or Certification completion
Must possess an ADC, CDP, or CTRS
Minimum 2 years of experience in long-term care, as a supervisor
Ability to communicate effectively with multi-disciplinary team
Developing care plans, monitoring systems and all documentation requirements
Knowledge of Quality Assurance programs, State survey processes, Residents’ Rights
Supervising the Recreation Department personnel
Creating, planning, implementing monthly calendars and newsletters
Follow budgetary guidelines for the department.
Creating, Planning, and Implementing Facility Event Calendar for staff
Computer knowledge
Ability to manage time effectively
Creating person-centered large and small group programs, hospitality, and special sensory activities
