
Order Entry Specialist I

Overview
The Order Entry Specialist I role maintains ownership and accountability of all Order Management process steps of a sales order for distributed products. This role also performs administrative functions pertaining to the operation of the company and the safety of company personnel.
Responsibilities
Effectively review customer purchase order details and order hand-off information to input sales orders for distributed products for all product verticals into systems of record with attention to detail and timely execution.
Prepare and distribute paperwork for shipment to ensure accurate execution of sales orders.
Input purchase orders and material transfers for components required to complete orders and issue orders to external suppliers.
Routinely communicate with external suppliers to monitor delivery dates.
Send Sales Order Acknowledgement to the customer and communicate order updates.
Complete forms to request new customers, bill to/ship to addresses and/or vendors.
Assist with changes/updates to sales orders and purchase orders.
Responsive to customers through prompt follow-up to order needs, inquiries and non-technical problem resolution.
Engage necessary resources to resolve order fulfillment issues when they arise.
Follow order fulfillment process for product availability and production determination.
Qualifications Education & Experience:
Dynamics or other ERP experience preferred, but not required
High School diploma
Experience in a customer service or administrative role addressing business process and customer needs within order execution process. (preferred)
Skills & Abilities:
Customer-focused attitude (internal/external)
Highly organized
Self-directed learner
Effective time-management
Detail-oriented
Must be able to travel and have a clear driving record in accordance to company driving guidelines
Clear background check and drug/alcohol screening
Essential Physical Functions
Travel: less than 5%
Lifting up to 20 pounds
Bending, stooping, walking
