Assistant Director of Athletics Compliance
Penn State is accepting applications for a position in the Athletics Compliance Office. This role oversees assigned NCAA bylaws and serves as the primary contact for designated sports and/or units by providing interpretations, submitting waivers, and reporting Level III violations.
Primary Responsibilities
Manage day‑to‑day duties related to assigned NCAA bylaws, including Bylaw 13: Recruiting.
Serve as the main point of contact for assigned sports and/or administrative units, respond to interpretive inquiries, prepare and submit waiver requests, and investigate and file Level III violations.
Assist with student‑athlete housing assignments and maintain the housing database; serve as primary contact for institutional housing of student athletes.
Assist with maintaining compliance‑related databases (ARMS/Teamworks).
Required Qualifications
Experience working in an Intercollegiate Athletics Compliance setting.
Comprehensive knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
Excellent verbal and written communication, computer, analytical, and research skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple projects and attend to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s Degree or Juris Doctorate (JD).
