
Assistant Director of Athletics Compliance

Position Overview
Assistant Director of Athletics Compliance within the Athletics Compliance Office. The role oversees assigned NCAA bylaws and serves as the primary contact for designated sports and/or units, providing interpretations, submitting waivers, and reporting Level III violations.
Responsibilities
Manage day‑to‑day duties related to assigned NCAA bylaws, including Bylaw 13: Recruiting.
Serve as the main point of contact for assigned sports and/or administrative units, responding to interpretive inquiries, preparing and submitting waiver requests, and investigating and filing Level III violations.
Assist with student‑athlete housing assignments and maintain the housing database; serve as primary contact for institutional housing of student‑athletes.
Assist with maintaining compliance‑related databases (ARMS/Teamworks).
Required Qualifications
Experience working in an Intercollegiate Athletics Compliance setting.
Comprehensive knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
Excellent verbal and written communication, computer, analytical, and research skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple projects and pay close attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s Degree or Juris Doctorate (JD).
Minimum Education & Experience Bachelor’s Degree plus 1 or more years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience is accepted.
Required Certifications None.
Background Checks and Clearances Required clearances: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check.
Salary & Benefits Salary range: $51,000.00 – $74,000.00. The benefits package includes comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, robust retirement plans, and generous paid time off (holidays, vacation, sick time). Employees receive a 75% tuition discount for themselves, spouses, and children.
