We currently have an opening for a Vice President, Client Services within Plexus Financial Services (PFS) in our Deer Park, IL, headquarters office.
Position Summary Through expert application of Client Service Management, develop and maintain effective ladder of relationships within client, prospect and intermediary organizations. Deliver appropriate level of service to optimize client satisfaction and loyalty while also meeting PFS business needs, specifically retention, cross sell, and overall revenue growth objectives. Act as key contributor to the PFS team, fostering internal relationships and participating in collaborative initiatives in support of Practice objectives.
Experience with investment analytics, plan design, recordkeeping, employee education and fiduciary best practices are desired. Series 6, 63 and 65 are desired or obtained in short order.
Through expert application of Strategic Account Management and Consultative Selling techniques, develop and maintain effective ladder of relationships within client, prospect and intermediary organizations. Deliver appropriate level of service to optimize client satisfaction and loyalty while also meeting PFS business needs, specifically retention, product positioning, cross sell, and overall revenue growth objectives. Act as key contributor to the team, fostering internal relationships and participating in collaborative initiatives in support of Practice objectives.
RESPONSBILITIES
Assume responsibility and accountability for client relationships, including their satisfaction and retention
Through research and relationship building, develop a deep understanding of assigned client’s objectives and industry, strategy, philosophy and needs around retirement programs
Establish trust and credibility with key influencers at client organization, including but not limited to TPA’s, Attorneys and Trustees
Own development and, with/through members of Practice and other internal teams, execution of targeted client-level strategies
Responsible for successfully negotiating win/win outcomes around PFS fee, and other deliverables
Understand P&L drivers for clients and present thoughtful case for P&L decisions
Demonstrate executive presence and authority over subject matter in order to instill confidence in clients and influence successful outcomes
Keeps appropriate information and history in CRM system and client folder
Proactively keep Practice Leader informed of key activities with assigned clients
REQUIREMENTS
BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
7 -10 years of client management and/or retirement plan experience
Complete understanding of retirement plan design, principles, processes and products
High level understanding of the insurance sales and marketing process
Must have advanced problem-solving capabilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be able to explain complex issues, receive and interpret complex information, and respond appropriately
Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and direct business activities
Self‑motivated self‑starter able to identify and tackle a variety of issues
Ability to work independently as well as in co‑ordination with other members of team
High level knowledge of computer and word processing programs such as Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, Outlook), loss forecasting software, agency management systems
Series 63, 6 or 7, 65 or 66 or the ability to obtain in short order
CRPC, AIF, QPFC, QKA/QPA designation(s) preferred
Compensation and Benefits The approximate annual salary range for this position is $110,000 - $150,000. Please note the range provided is a good faith estimate at the time of the posting. Actual compensation within that range is based on a wide variety of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to, individual qualifications, depth of experience, knowledge, skills, applicable certifications, and physical work location(s).
