
(USA) Asset Protection Associate - All DC/FC(Temp -Full - S1: 5am- 3pm)

Position Summary: This role supports Walmart’s Asset Protection and Employee Health & Safety functions, collaborating with facility staff and external stakeholders to uphold security, safety, compliance, and operational standards.
Schedule & Work Shift Work Shift: 0500-1500 (Tue‑Fri).
Varies by location and will be discussed during the interview process.
Responsibilities Asset Protection Security
Support facility security staff.
Monitors and maintains access‑control equipment.
Employee Health & Safety
Access organizational resources to address business‑specific health and safety hazards.
Implement relevant OSHA and industry‐specific guidelines.
Identify and report employee health and safety risks to facility management.
Maintain a directory of emergency response personnel and summon emergency services when needed.
Conduct compliance, safety and food‑safety audits and produce audit reports.
Act as associate interface for workers’ compensation issues.
Analyze and report claim types that may require settlement.
Partnership Collaboration
Own delivery of project activity and tasks assigned by others.
Support process updates and changes.
Resolve simple business issues.
Demonstrate functional knowledge of the supported business unit.
Data & Digital Literacy
Gather, interpret and report data in digital environments.
Leverage technology to execute transactional activities.
Ensure data completeness across systems and apply data quality checks.
Recommend automation opportunities (e.g., RPA, AI, cloud apps).
EHS Training Delivery
Support instructors and learning facilitators in training programs.
Solicit and manage training feedback.
Maintain training lifecycle repositories.
Explain relevant processes and procedures to contractors.

Organize thoughts and communicate credibly within scope of work.
Present and influence team members & business partners.
Use relevant data to articulate results and recommendations.
Actively listen, provide constructive feedback and build a professional network.
Process Improvement
Support implementation of process improvement strategies.

Lead incident investigations under supervision of advanced leaders.

Promote environmental issues within the organization.

Explain operational functions and key roles of assigned units.
Clarify departmental roles and interdependence with line operations.
Identify primary operational functions and locate SOP/OBW information.
List common tasks performed by operational functions.

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications
6 months experience as a Walmart associate OR 1 year of work experience or coursework in criminal justice, loss prevention/asset protection, safety, compliance, or security‑related field.
Preferred Qualifications
Microsoft Office Suite; SharePoint and OneDrive.
Work experience or coursework in criminal justice, loss prevention/asset protection, safety, compliance, or security‑related field.
