Foreclosure Specialist Position Summary
The Foreclosure Specialist is responsible for ensuring smooth processing and effective case management in the Foreclosure Department by providing legal clerical support. They must communicate cross‑functionally with clients, courts, and attorneys in a timely and professional manner. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, has strong organizational skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional client service. Foreclosure Specialist Job Responsibilities
Oversee a portfolio of foreclosure files by preparing and filing legal documents, drafting and mailing correspondence, and ensuring timely process progression. Ensure all activities comply with internal standards, obtaining resolution documents (i.e., discharges and corrective documents) within expected timelines. Serve as a key point of contact for clients, courts, opposing counsel, and vendors; respond promptly to inquiries via email, phone, and voicemail. Provide clear, accurate updates on case status and elevate complex matters as needed to achieve satisfactory outcomes for clients. Monitor client websites, address routine and complex inquiries, and maintain proactive communication to uphold exceptional service standards. Perform data entry, maintain case management systems, and ensure all documentation complies with regulatory requirements. Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor(s). Required Qualifications And Skills
High school diploma required; Associate's degree or higher preferred. 1‑3 years of foreclosure or related default servicing experience required. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and time‑management skills. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Knowledge of Michigan court procedures and filing requirements. What We Offer You
