Pay range: $22.00 - $29.00 hourly (commensurate with experience)

Responsibilities

Maintain ongoing relationships with regional customers and sales staff by answering incoming calls, correcting order issues, processing customer orders, and resolving product or service issues.

Process sales orders and order changes and confirm shipment/delivery dates and cancellations.

Provide specialty gas/supplies sales and support to customers, other Customer Solutions Specialists, and the outside sales team.

Use business software systems to retrieve customer information, verify inventory levels, and process orders.

Verify customer credit status and complete necessary paperwork to issue credits or debits.

Provide quotes and assistance to sales force and management within set parameters.

Suggest additional and/or alternative products and services to meet customer needs following established pricing guidelines.

Provide customers with informational materials such as sales brochures, marketing flyers, etc.

Handle phone inquiries for service calls and part orders.

Build and maintain effective working relationships with all internal Linde customers.

Perform at a high level to meet call center performance metrics.

Outsource products and goods from internal and external locations.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High School Diploma required; college or equivalent experience preferred.

Minimum of 2–4 years of customer service or in‑store sales experience required.

Prior industry experience with current company products (hardgoods, welding supplies, industrial gas, specialty gas and medical gas) required.

Hands‑on experience in Specialty Gas/Hydrocarbon industries required.

Strong computer skills, including Microsoft applications.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proficiency in computer systems and applications.

Demonstrated ability to work independently and be self‑motivated.

Ability to work flexible hours.
