
Tasting Room Sales & Hospitality Host

At Domaine Drouhin Oregon, our family approach guides everything we do—from how we farm and craft our wines to how we welcome guests into our Tasting Room. With deep roots in Burgundy and Oregon, we are proud to share the full range of Drouhin wines, from Burgundy to the Dundee Hills and Eola-Amity Hills. As a Tasting Room Host, you’ll play a key role in sharing our story and delivering warm, thoughtful hospitality. This is a team-oriented role in a collaborative environment, where every host contributes equally to guest experiences and behind-the-scenes needs.
Schedule & Compensation
Shifts available daily; flexible scheduling from 16–35 hours per week
Minimum of 4 shifts per month required
Paid training: at least 20 hours of in-depth onboarding to ensure fluency in our history, service standards, software, and compliance
Hourly wage plus pooled tips and wine club sign-on commissions
Education reimbursement available for approved coursework
Essential Responsibilities
Welcome and host guests with warmth, professionalism, and enthusiasm
Share the Drouhin family story and values through personalized, seated tastings
Manage multiple seated experiences simultaneously, ensuring each guest feels valued
Guide wine education, facilitate purchases, and support club signups with confidence
Assist with all guest touchpoints: reservations, greetings, transactions, and shipping details
Support events with setup, service, and breakdown as needed
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in front and back‑of‑house areas
Complete opening and closing duties, including restocking, glass polishing, and detailed upkeep
Accurately handle POS and reservation software (TOCK & Commerce7) for transactions and guest records
Qualifications
Friendly, professional, and team‑minded with a positive, "can do" attitude
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Prior experience in hospitality, customer service, or fast‑paced environments preferred
Ability to multi‑task gracefully and think proactively
Reliable transportation; punctual and dependable
Must be 21+, with valid OLCC and Food Handler permits
Able to lift 40 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods, including throughout our four‑level gravity flow winery
Availability on weekends and occasional evenings is essential
Professional appearance and conduct at all times
