
Recruiter - Construction Industry

We have a current opening for a Recruiter in Dallas, TX.
Success in the position is achieved through the following duties & responsibilities:
Effective Recruitment to Support Building Projects
Conduct hiring needs assessment with manager and provide feedback to WF team.
Follow up for backfill of employee separations.
Find qualified candidates; creative methods to build company brand and recruit hard to find applicants; source/hire from established candidate pools/pipelines.
Track updates, notes, etc. in ATS system.
Schedule and participate in interviews.
Keep candidates engaged during the entire process.
Provide regular updates, guidance, and stats to hiring managers regarding open positions and candidate statuses.
Assist with job posting and advertisement processes as needed ensuring that all information is accurate.
Regularly engage candidate pipeline, lead engagement initiatives and track for team.
Establish and meet metrics for engagement.
Set and attend meetings/interviews with potential strategic hires and hiring decision makers.
Work with current employees to build a strategic recruiting pipeline through referrals.
Work with superintendents and talent development team on 6 months look‑ahead schedules to plan out pipeline and support workforce development.
Attend weekly talent development meetings to assist on strategy for building talent pipelines and participate in recruiting campaigns and creating marketing material.
Represent Royal at college/university and industry job fairs, industry events and in‑house events.
Research and connect with opportunities for Royal to represent at events.
Education & Experience
High School Education/GED or equivalent.
5+ years of recruiting or similar experience; skilled trades recruiting a plus (Electricians, Laborers, Construction Workers, Manufacturing, etc.).
High volume recruiting experience.
Required Skills & Abilities
Experience and ability to use creative sourcing techniques to effectively fill positions.
Great interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships internally and externally.
Ability to exercise good judgement and maintain confidentiality.
Proficient utilizing Applicant Tracking System(s) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of EEO, FLSA, and diversity recruiting.
Ability to multi‑task and demonstrate time management in a fast‑paced environment.
Must be detail‑oriented and well organized.
Ability to work independently and with a team.
Special Considerations
Bilingual/Spanish speaking a plus.
Salary Range $75,000/year - $90,000/year
This is an exempt position.
