
Construction Superintendent

Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee field operations for food and beverage manufacturing projects across the United States. This role is crucial for managing renovation, maintenance, and infrastructure improvements within active production environments, with an emphasis in plumbing process sewer, pipe line systems (CIPP), rehabilitation, with some knowledge in process waste water treatment. The successful candidate will be adept at navigating the complexities of live facilities while prioritizing safety, sanitation, and operational continuity.
Key Responsibilities
Direct all on-site construction activities for renovation and maintenance projects.
Lead projects involving drain line replacement, trenching, and lining systems within operational facilities.
Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure project schedule and quality standards are met.
Enforce strict compliance with safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards, including OSHA, FDA, and USDA as applicable.
Collaborate with plant operations to minimize downtime and operational disruptions.
Maintain daily site logs, schedules, and reporting for project transparency.
Facilitate site meetings and communicate project progress to stakeholders.
Identify and proactively resolve field issues to keep projects on track and within budget.
Required Experience
A minimum of 10 years of experience as a Superintendent in industrial, manufacturing, or food and beverage environments.
Proven track record of working in active operating facilities.
Hands‑on experience with drain and pipe replacement, pipe lining and trenchless systems (CIPP), concrete cutting and pour backs, trenching, and underground utilities.
Strong understanding of phased construction and shutdown coordination.
Willingness and ability to travel extensively across the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in food and beverage, pharmaceutical, or GMP-regulated environments.
Knowledge of sewer systems, wastewater infrastructure, and plant maintenance upgrades.
Background in managing national rollouts or multi‑site programs.
Engage in specialized, high‑demand projects within critical manufacturing settings.
