What You’ll Do You’ll play a critical role in optimizing plant health and greenhouse performance—balancing science, systems, and hands‑on execution.
Monitor and adjust greenhouse conditions (temperature, humidity, irrigation, water chemistry) to ensure optimal plant growth
Partner closely with the Head Grower to implement data‑driven growing strategies
Mix and apply fertilizers according to precise formulas and crop schedules
Execute integrated pest management (IPM), including tracking, reporting, and deploying biological controls
Conduct daily inspections of greenhouse systems, identifying and troubleshooting mechanical or climate issues
Analyze plant performance, environmental data, and system outputs to drive continuous improvement
Support food safety, quality, and compliance standards (GMP, HACCP)
Participate in grower alignment meetings, trainings, and cross‑functional collaboration
Step in to support broader greenhouse operations as needed
What You’ll Bring Experience & Technical Skills
3+ years of experience in controlled environment agriculture (CEA) or hydroponic crop production
Experience with climate control systems such as
Ridder, Hoogendoorn, Priva, or Argus
Strong understanding of plant physiology, water chemistry, and growing systems
Comfortable working with data, spreadsheets, and system monitoring tools
Leafy greens experience is a plus—but not required
Education
High School Diploma or GED required
Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture, Plant Science, or related field preferred
