Full Time Human Resource Assistant Convert to a full-time employee after 520 hours of work!
Must be bilingual, Spanish and English
Assists Human Resource Manager with all functions of Human Resources: including policies and procedures, employee relations, recruiting, benefits, assisting with answering benefit questions for employees. Hours are Monday – Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Recruit, interview and recommend employees to fill vacant positions.
Post job ads, organize resumes and job applications, schedule job interviews and assist in interview process.
Ensure background and reference checks are completed.
Conduct open enrollment benefit meetings for all active employee and manage paperwork processing.
Prepare new employee files and conduct orientation.
Assist with personnel plans, policies and procedures for all personnel, including Employee Handbook.
Uphold company policies and procedures and respond to inquiries regarding same.
Maintain current HR files and databases.
Perform file audits to ensure that all required employee documentation is properly collected and maintained.
Assist with all workers comp/disability claims.
Assist with time entry for payroll.
Assist with all other projects and tasks as needed, fill in where required for reception desk and/or customer service with training.
EDUCATION AND/OR WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or GED Required, Human Resources experience preferred.
Must be entrusted to maintain confidentiality at all times.
Must be adept at identifying issues and problem solving.
Must be able to communicate clearly, both written and orally.
Experience compiling reports, spreadsheets and working with computer systems.
Must be organized, accurate, thorough, and able to utilize time efficiently.
Must be self-motivated, dependable, and able to multitask.
Must be bilingual, Spanish and English
