
Evaluation Specialist, SOAR ASAP

Job Description
The Evaluation Specialist manages all aspects of program data, including data collection, data management, analysis, and reporting for the SOAR ASAP program and works closely with program staff to ensure data are used to inform decision‑making and better serve students. The evaluation specialist will assist with required data reporting for all grant funding associated with the program. Ultimately, this position analyzes data to assess the program’s effectiveness in boosting graduation rates, focusing on retention, credit accumulation, and timely graduation.
This is a non‑exempt, grant‑funded staff position with funding approved through June 30, 2029.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States; the college does not offer visa sponsorship for this position.
Required Education
Master’s degree
or Bachelor’s degree with a total of five years of experience using a standard statistical package, including ability to write syntax and query data from a relational database
Required Experience Minimum of three years of experience using a standard statistical package, including ability to write syntax and query data from a relational database.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Knowledge of social science research methods and a strong understanding of basic statistical analysis
Strong understanding of program evaluation methods
Excellent multi‑tasking ability
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Working knowledge of SPSS or other statistical software
Preferred Qualifications
Experience utilizing Ellucian Banner
Experience using Argos or a report writer
