Evaluation Specialist, SOAR ASAP

Harford Community College is seeking an Evaluation Specialist to manage all aspects of program data for the SOAR ASAP program, including data collection, management, analysis, and reporting. This role works closely with program staff to use data to inform decision-making, support grant reporting, and improve student outcomes.
The Evaluation Specialist analyzes program effectiveness in boosting graduation rates, with a focus on student retention, credit accumulation, and timely graduation.
This is a non-exempt, grant-funded position with funding currently approved through June 30, 2029.
Qualifications include: Master’s degree, or Bachelor’s degree with five years of experience using statistical software and querying relational databases At least three years of experience using a standard statistical package (e.g., SPSS), including writing syntax Knowledge of social science research and program evaluation methods Strong analytical, multitasking, and communication skills Maryland or contiguous-state residency required. U.S. work authorization required; visa sponsorship not available.
