Job Overview The Sales Consultant in Training position supports, services, and maintains accounts in the Twin Cities area. The role involves stocking shelves, building displays, and following up after deliveries. It includes selling current and new products, promotions, in‑store tastings, and servicing accounts, with the goal of training new personnel who will eventually manage a sales territory.
Job Responsibilities
Travel around assigned territory to service accounts
Check quantities of goods on display, cold box placements, in stock and service the accounts
Fill shelves from displays and back stock to ensure out of stock items are minimized
Develop and maintain relationships with customers
Communicate with Sales Representatives regarding changes in buyer’s preferences, out of stock inventory, oversight in shelf space and any concerns during business hours
Build and develop trust and a strong working relationship of the retailer by upholding Johnson Brothers corporate values, having excellent customer service and a "can‑do" attitude
Perform other work‑related tasks and special projects as assigned
Job Requirements
Work experience in the liquor industry (bartender, wait staff, liquor store experience, etc.) is a plus
Goal and results oriented
Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and prioritize work
Competitive, self‑motivated and customer service orientated
Professional written and oral communication skills are a must
Reliable transportation with valid insurance
Good driving record
Ability to lift to 50‑pound cases, sometimes repeatedly
Local candidates preferred (no relocation package)
