Our client, a cosmetics distributor, is looking for a Packaging Designer to join their beauty team in NYC!
Responsibilities
- Create product artwork and edit/organize artwork files
- Communicate with overseas factories on artwork and product approvals
- Participate in customer meetings with the sales and merchandising team
- Create trend boards/visual sales toolsKeep files, materials, and samples organized
- Conceptualize and design packaging for various beauty/personal care products
- Ensure that packaging designs align with guidelines
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor packaging, and consumer preferences
- Create dielines and templates for packaging production
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Packaging/Graphic Design
- 1-4+ years of packaging experience
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Beauty industry experience a plus
- Must have experience working on packaging production files
- Mechanical CAD drawing, photography, and retouching skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop)
Salary Range: $90-110,000
