We’re looking for someone who is motivated to go beyond “just writing copy.” You’ll take a proactive role in campaign strategy and development, while writing the elements that support those campaigns. You’ll work with our team to craft integrated, complex, and rich storytelling across a variety of content formats and channels. The position offers a hybrid work schedule, where you’ll be working in the office on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, with the flexibility to work remotely on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Key Responsibilities: Lead brand and content strategy engagements, including messaging architecture, value proposition development, and market positioning for clients (and BizStream). Plan and facilitate stakeholder, customer, and subject matter expert (SME) interviews to uncover audience needs, pain points, business goals, and differentiators. Develop audience frameworks (personas, pain points, motivators, decision criteria), map messaging to the buyer journey, and define strategic content direction by stage. Conduct website/content audits and recommend strategic improvements (including information architecture, restructuring, consolidation, or expansion of site sections). Identify content opportunities, gaps, and repurposing potential across channels and lifecycle stages. Define project scope, strategic deliverables, and prioritized plans tied to measurable goals. Maintain content calendars and coordinate deliverables across multiple clients. Plan, develop, and generate integrated campaign elements and topics for ongoing programs (blogs, thought leadership, campaigns). Write and edit high-impact marketing content across formats: web pages, blogs, case studies, white papers, emails, ads, social posts, and sales collateral. Create and apply SEO/GEO strategy, including keyword planning, metadata, on-page optimization, and search-intent alignment. Adapt tone and terminology to match each client’s brand and industry. Ensure deliverables align with client brand standards and project requirements. What You Bring: 5+ years writing conversion and results-oriented marketing copy and long-form content. Direct experience through education/training and work in content marketing campaign coordination, program building, content management, and tracking. Proven experience and competency in understanding and writing about complex technical subject matter—and turning it into understandable and consumable information. Interviewing and interacting with technical SMEs. Ability to develop personas based on interviews, industry research, and competitor analysis. Writing SEO-rich content and optimizing content for keywords. Knowing when and how to make relevant recommendations with little or no direction—recommend events or topics proactively. Solid understanding of grammatical and editorial conventions. Ability to organize, track, and complete multiple, often unrelated, writing projects at one time. Ability to understand and speak to multiple stakeholder points of view, pains, and needs. Understanding of B2B marketing and the B2B buyer journey. Soft Skills: Edit and proof your own work and that of teammates. Curiosity about a variety of subjects, even when they are unfamiliar. Desire to help people find solutions they need and solve real-life problems. Pride in the quality of work produced. Confidence in the value of content marketing. Actively uses and evaluates AI tools and workflows for content strategy, SEO/GEO, research synthesis, and efficiency (understanding both their capabilities and limitations).
