Job Title: Temporary Marketing Coordinator Location: Clayton State University Regular/Temporary: Temporary Full/Part Time: Part-Time Job ID: 296836 The Marketing Coordinator helps plan, create, and execute a variety of traditional and digital marketing initiatives to promote Spivey Hall's brand, performances, and education and community engagement programs. This role blends event promotion, print advertising, and community outreach with digital strategies such as social media, email campaigns, SEO, and paid online advertising. The ideal candidate is a creative storyteller and a meticulous project manager who thrives in a dynamic, artistic, and collaborative environment. Responsibilities Campaign Planning & Execution: Assist in developing, scheduling, and executing integrated marketing campaigns across print, digital, and event channels. Maintain the marketing calendar to ensure deadlines and deliverables are met. Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to produce creative assets, including flyers, brochures, digital ads, and videos. Content Creation & Management: Draft, revise, and proofread content for websites, newsletters, press releases, and social media platforms. Update website content using WordPress CMS, applying SEO best practices. Coordinate photography, videography, and design projects. Social Media Management: Develop and manage a content calendar across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube. Create engaging posts, monitor and respond to audience interactions, and adjust strategies using performance metrics. Email Marketing: Build and distribute segmented email campaigns to promote events, news, and special offers. Personalize messaging for distinct audience groups and analyze campaign metrics to inform continuous improvement. Advertising & Promotions: Support traditional advertising efforts (print, radio, outdoor, and sponsorships) as well as digital advertising initiatives (Google Ads and paid social campaigns). Monitor performance and provide data-driven recommendations. Research & Reporting: Conduct market and audience research to identify trends and opportunities. Prepare regular campaign performance reports, highlighting successes and areas for improvement. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Two to four years of experience in marketing, including both digital and traditional channels. Arts marketing experience is a plus. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading abilities. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Proficiency in social media platforms, email marketing platforms, and content management systems (CMS). Basic knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, and paid advertising. Familiarity with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva. Experience with Patron Manager is a plus. Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
