What We Look For In a Marketing Tutor Advanced Subject Mastery: Deep knowledge of marketing mix, consumer behavior, market segmentation, positioning, branding, digital marketing, market research, pricing strategy, distribution channels, and integrated marketing communications. Ability to explain the four‑P framework, customer journey mapping, competitive analysis, and marketing analytics while preparing students for marketing coursework, business strategy, and marketing career readiness. Conceptual Teaching & Problem‑Solving: Skilled at breaking down market segmentation analysis, campaign development, and marketing plan construction. Guides students through conducting SWOT and competitive analysis, developing buyer personas, creating positioning statements, analyzing marketing metrics, and designing integrated marketing campaigns. Emphasizes data‑driven marketing decisions and connects theory to digital advertising, social media strategy, and brand management applications. Curriculum Awareness & Adaptive Instruction: Familiar with marketing curricula at introductory and intermediate levels and common challenges such as applying segmentation frameworks, distinguishing marketing strategies, and connecting theory to digital marketing practice. Adapts instruction using real company case studies, campaign analysis projects, and marketing plan development to support undergraduate business students and professionals building marketing knowledge and analytical skills. Effective Teaching Methods: Ability to identify concepts students commonly struggle with, explain material using multiple approaches, and adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs and styles. Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style. Ability to adapt to different learning styles and student needs.
