ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Knows, understands, incorporates and demonstrates the mission, vision and values of Trinity Health in leadership behaviors, practices and decisions.

Administers HR policies and procedures that cover multiple functional areas.

Investigates and resolves general issues related to HR processes and procedures, benefit programs and assists with related issues via telephone and e‑mail, providing prompt solutions and superior customer service.

Performs HR administration and benefits transactions in Workday and other applications, processes employment verifications and requests, and collaborates with other team members to resolve unique and complicated associate issues while implementing process improvements.

Documents all incoming inquiries in detail using the case management system to ensure seamless transition between representatives.

Assists managers and associates with web‑site navigation and self‑service utilization.

Works with the HR Service Center team to inform of internal issues requiring additional assistance and provides general personal/benefit information and processes related events for associates.

Adheres to established regulations, processes, procedures, plans and systems.

Maintains confidentiality of department and associate information according to established practice.

Performs administrative activities, including completion and processing of HR forms, preparing reports and conducting audits as required, and completing special projects as assigned.

Other duties as needed and assigned by the manager.

Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State and local laws and regulations, Trinity Health’s Organizational Integrity Program, Standards of Conduct and other policies to ensure ethical and professional behavior.

Minimum Qualifications

Comprehensive understanding of Human Resources, Benefits, Payroll, Annual Enrollment, Leave Administration, HRIS, process integration and Contact/Service Center operations.

High School diploma with two (2) years of experience in an HR administrative or customer support role in a high‑volume work environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

An Associate’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Business Systems, or related field is preferred.

Familiarity with PeopleSoft, Workday and Kronos time and attendance systems is preferred.

Strong attention to detail and customer service experience.

Demonstrated decision‑making, excellent telephone communication, strong listening and comprehension skills, and excellent interpersonal, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Ability to organize, prioritize workload and handle multiple tasks, meeting deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Effective interaction with various functional areas and Ministry Organizations.

Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.

PC experience and proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Windows or related software; good keyboarding skills with a high level of accuracy.

Personal presence characterized by honesty, integrity and caring, with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote Trinity Health’s philosophy, mission, vision, goals and values.

Physical And Mental Requirements And Working Conditions

Set and organize own work priorities, adapting as they change frequently; work concurrently on multiple tasks/projects in a potentially stressful environment.

Operate in a typical office environment that is well‑lit, temperature‑controlled and free from hazards.

Communicate frequently in person and over the phone; hearing is required.

Manual dexterity required for keyboard operation.

Comply with Trinity Health policies and procedures.

Travel to various Trinity Health sites as needed.

Compensation Hourly pay ranges: $19.21 – $28.82
