
Lock Desk Analyst

Position Summary
The Lock Desk Analyst assists with daily Secondary functions which include Rate Sheet Distribution, Secondary System Audits, handling lock requests, extensions, loan parameter change requests, re-locks and other secondary functions.
Responsibilities
Audit pricing system daily to ensure accuracy of published rates.
Ensure all pricing related data is accurately entered and maintained within Blue Sage.
Review and verify lock requests as they are received by the lock desk.
Handle lock maintenance requests such as extensions, re-locks, updates, renegotiations, etc.
Assist with pricing related questions regarding policies, procedures, and investor guidelines.
Assist with training of new branch managers, AEs and employees as needed.
Assist with mandatory trade data preparation, execution, and input.
Analyze and resolve associated operational issues associated with rate lock mismatches.
Research pricing requests and update system with required pricing changes.
Maintain satisfactory attendance and report to work on time every day.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2+ years of mortgage experience preferred, preferably with pricing/registration experience.
High attention to detail and effective problem‑solving skills.
Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced and often stressful environment.
Must accept coaching and constructive criticism regarding best practices and designated organizational scripts.
Must have excellent organization, computer, and verbal and written communication skills.
Must have analytical thinking ability, diplomacy, and professionalism.
Work well with other team members and leaders including colleagues, correspondent counterparties, vendors, and members of the leadership team.
Must possess proficient computer skills in applications including but not limited to Excel, Word, and LOS system.
Education High School diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
Pay Disclosure The starting base pay range for this position is $20/hour. The actual base is dependent on many factors such as work experience, business needs, market demands, and other compensation components. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
