
Part-Time Student Graphic Designer, Union Board, Indiana Memorial Union

Responsibilities
Collaborates closely with the Director of Marketing, Marketing Leads, and fellow Graphic Design team members to develop creative solutions that bring concepts to life.
Designs compelling digital and print materials using Adobe Creative Cloud, ensuring each piece effectively communicates its purpose to the intended audience.
Conducts research to support design projects, drawing from previous work, brand guidelines, and input from Marketing Leads and Directors.
Provides timely, professional communication regarding project status, production updates, and design critiques.
Actively participates in meetings, critiques, and brainstorming sessions to support the creative process and contribute to team goals.
Position Details Work‑study eligible position. In‑person, located in Bloomington, Indiana. Approximately 10 hours per week. $15.00 per hour. Requires flexibility for evening and weekend coverage.
Education
Currently enrolled as a student at Indiana University.
Preferred Education
Pursuit of a degree in Graphic Design or related field.
Skills Required
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (CC): InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
Experience creating designs and layout of campaigns and advertisements.
Understanding of effective design principles and typography.
Fine attention to detail.
Professionalism, dependability, and respect for others.
Exceptional decision‑making skills and autonomy.
Exceptional written and communication skills.
Performs well in a team‑oriented, collaborative atmosphere.
Strong sense of curiosity and creativity.
