DERU Market is a chef owned restaurant based in Kirkland, Washington. The restaurant was created with a vision for excellent food, excellent hospitality and excellent finance! Our focus is farm to table and cooking all of our food from scratch in our kitchens seven days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner while providing our guests with a memorable hospitality experience!
Role Description This is a hourly, full-time, on-site role located in Kirkland, WA, for a Hospitality Ambassador!
We operate both a casual, fast paced dining room with a drive-through curbside operations as well. This role is multi-faceted with the ability to work a variety of positions from floor hostess to server or on the takeout team with ease while providing a thoughtful guest experience!
Qualifications
Strong skills in customer service, with the ability to ensure a positive guest experience along with service recoveries for our guests.
Exceptional communication skills to engage effectively with team members and guests.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while remaining calm under pressure.
Flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of a dynamic restaurant setting along with the ability to work long hours on your feet and carry 25-50 pounds with ease.
Previous experience in a hospitality or customer-facing role is highly advantageous.
Carries a Food Handler’s Permit and Washington State Liquor License or obtains one within 30 days of employment start date.
Hourly Pay / Schedule + Benefits
Minimum Seattle hourly wage + tips along with health care and employee discount. Weekend availability is a must and flexibility with morning / evening shifts.
