$80,000-$100,000 salary + 25% bonus
Summary Our client is a growing cybersecurity company seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst who can operate across both compliance and hands-on security. This role focuses on ensuring security controls are properly implemented, effective, and aligned with frameworks like NIST and STIG. You'll work directly with security tools, systems, and cross-functional teams to identify risks, investigate issues, and strengthen overall security posture in a fast-paced, product-driven environment.
What You'll Do
Monitor and investigate security activity (SIEM, alerts, vulnerabilities) Help remediate security issues across systems and endpoints Work with tools like EDR, vulnerability scanners, and logging platforms Support incident response and day-to-day security operations Ensure alignment with frameworks like NIST, RMF, and STIG Work within SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk) and vulnerability platforms to monitor, investigate, and validate security activity
What They're Looking For
6 years in IT / cybersecurity and compliance Experience with NIST, RMF, STIG, or similar frameworks Hands-on exposure to SIEM, EDR, or vulnerability tools Understanding of endpoint, server, or network security Background in regulated or high-security environments
