Interim Deal Desk Analyst / Manager
Our client, a growing technology company, is seeking an Interim Deal Desk Analyst or Manager to support sales execution and pricing strategy during a period of transition. This engagement is expected to last 3 months, with the potential of extension or conversion. The position is hybrid, 3 days/week in San Francisco, CA. They might be flexible for exceptional remote candidates.
Responsibilities
Support deal desk activities to help accelerate sales cycles and improve deal outcomes
Review pricing proposals, quotes, and order documentation to ensure alignment with business objectives
Provide guidance on deal structure and pricing strategy to optimize profitability
Analyze complex pricing scenarios and recommend appropriate approval, rejection, or escalation
Partner cross-functionally with sales, finance, legal, product, and support teams
Support contract review to ensure adherence to internal policies and revenue guidelines
Utilize sales and pricing systems to evaluate deal data and mitigate risk
Requirements
6+ years of experience in deal desk, pricing, or sales operations roles
Strong experience supporting usage-based or consumption-driven pricing models
Ability to analyze complex pricing structures and exercise sound business judgment
Proven experience partnering cross-functionally with commercial and finance teams
Strong communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders
