We are seeking a Senior Technical Producer to manage and deliver critical aspects of a AAA action-adventure game. Your strengths are a mix of hard project management and soft people skills that you use to guide large teams to adhere to a shared vision, within scope and schedule constraints while helping to retain work/life balance and our company values.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the cross-department schedule and related task-tracking database across key features, departments, and milestone deliverables. Emphasis on technical deliverables such as gameplay features, engine tools, and technical art pipelines.
• Solicit needs from departments and align them to set project requirements. Turn those requirements into project plans and work with the team to execute those plans.
• Collaborate with production and development department leadership to drive decision making that achieves project goals and company values.
• Connect departments and eliminate roadblocks to ensure the team flows efficiently through their work.
• Monitor the team and project health and communicate risks plus suggested corrective measures to leadership.
• Suggest improvements to the production process and assist in implementing them.
• Assemble productivity data from the production tracking system and create production reports that steer production forward.
• Drive team toward clarity when ambiguity exists on new deliverables or departmental innovations.
• Mentor associates and mid-level team members on best practices to achieve goals efficiently and collaboratively.
• Requirements & Skills:
• Project Management or Business Administration experience or degree.
• Experience working with Engineering teams in platform, DevOps, infrastructure, or similar. Familiarity with engineering workflows and terms to facilitate clear communication.
• Experience with Jira, Perforce, Miro, or other industry-standard tasking and version-control tools.
• Flexible and agile, able to adapt during a project to emerging requirements and potentially finish one department deliverable before switching to another if required.
• Adaptive managerial skills, knowing when to use formal or informal tactics and strategies to achieve project success.
• Experience or familiarity with managing budgets and/or staff resource plans.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of experience as a Producer or Project Manager delivering projects across multiple departments or equivalent experience.
• Strong time-management skills in a technically sophisticated and fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills with high emotional intelligence.
• High attention to detail.
