Job Description
Responsible for investigating and confirming the facts of loss for complex Homeowner's Claims. Determines coverage, damages and otherwise adjusts and negotiates claims within limit of authority. Responsible for creating a comprehensive estimate of damages for complex first party homeowner claims leading to the proper disposition. This role is utilized as peer mentor having mastered our processes and obtained technical expertise.
We are seeking an experienced Property Field Adjuster to join our Connecticut Claims team! The ideal candidate will reside in Connecticut or near the New York or Massachusetts border and have strong experience handling a wide range of homeowner claims. Proficiency in Xactimate and XactAnalysis, along with the ability to confidently write detailed estimates, is essential.

Key Responsibilities
Build mastered relationships with both internal and external customers
Interpret regulatory compliance and fair claims practices
Negotiate settlements, make settlement payments and document all activities in the most complex of files
Apply mastered content in interpretations of all policy types written by the company and assist leadership in formal and ad hoc training
Exhibit mastery estimating fundamentals in order to create estimates of damages on complex 1st party homeowner losses of all severities
Supervisory Responsibilities This job does not have supervisory duties.

Field Adjuster Cons I: $53,500 - $86,400
Field Adjuster Cons II: $56,000 - $93,250
Field Adjuster Sr Cons I & II: $65,600 - $111,550
And is based on experience and qualifications. Total compensation for this role is comprised of several factors, including the base compensation outlined above, plus incentive pay (i.e. commission, bonus, etc.) if applicable for the role.
