Director Operations and Events Manager

Corps Team, Atlanta, GA, United States

Our client, a bipartisan political action committee dedicated to supporting pro-Israel and pro-Jewish elected officials across Georgia, is hiring a Director of Operations and Events. Office located in Atlanta/Sandy Springs, GA area. Hybrid work arrangement (onsite/remote) with frequent local (Greater Atlanta Area) travel including event‑related errands and regular travel to the Georgia State Capitol during legislative session.

ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION A bipartisan political action committee dedicated to supporting pro‑Israel and pro‑Jewish elected officials across Georgia. The organization operates at the intersection of advocacy, community engagement, and political action — building lasting relationships between Georgia’s Jewish community and its elected leaders. The organization is in the active growth phase, expanding its programmatic reach, donor base, and legislative impact. Their work is high‑stakes and highly visible, and they are looking for someone who is genuinely excited to help build something meaningful from the ground up.

WHO THRIVES IN THIS ROLE The organization is a lean, mission‑driven organization in an active growth phase — and for now this is its sole staff position. For the right person, that’s not a caveat. It’s the opportunity. You’ll have real ownership over how systems get built, how events get run, and how the organization presents itself to the world. Leadership is engaged and high‑expectation, and will rely on you to keep things moving between touchpoints, flag what needs attention, and bring solutions rather than just problems.

You’ll thrive here if you: Take initiative without being asked, build structure where none exists, stay calm when priorities shift, care deeply about the mission, and find genuine satisfaction in doing whatever it takes to make something run well.

POSITION SUMMARY For now, the Director of Operations & Events is the sole staff member of the organization. This role is responsible for coordinating and executing the day‑to‑day operations, programmatic events, organizational infrastructure, and communications activities of the organization. Working in close coordination with PAC leadership and the Board of Directors, the Director of Operations & Events carries broad responsibility across all operational functions and must be comfortable building systems and processes in an environment that is still developing its infrastructure. This role requires someone who takes initiative, operates effectively with limited day‑to‑day supervision, and brings a problem‑solving mindset to every aspect of the work.

Manage CRM data integrity and accuracy, including regular audits to identify and resolve discrepancies (e.g., Little GreenLight, Salesforce, or similar)

Maintain organized filing systems and records in compliance with applicable state‑level reporting requirements

Track contributions and expenditures in compliance with Georgia campaign finance law, including accurate categorization and documentation

Proactively identify operational gaps and propose solutions for the organization’s infrastructure continues to develop

QUALIFICATIONS Required
