ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION
A bipartisan political action committee dedicated to supporting pro-Israel and pro-Jewish elected officials across Georgia. The organization operates at the intersection of advocacy, community engagement, and political action — building lasting relationships between Georgia’s Jewish community and its elected leaders. The organization is in the active growth phase, expanding its programmatic reach, donor base, and legislative impact. Their work is high-stakes and highly visible, and they are looking for someone who is genuinely excited to help build something meaningful from the ground up.
Office located in Atlanta/Sandy Springs, GA area.
Hybrid work arrangement (onsite/remote) with frequent local (Greater Atlanta Area) travel including event-related errands and regular travel to the Georgia State Capitol during legislative session.
WHO THRIVES IN THIS ROLE The organization is a lean, mission-driven organization in an active growth phase — and for now this is its sole staff position. For the right person, that’s not a caveat. It’s the opportunity.
You won’t be handed a playbook. In many cases, you’ll write it. You’ll have real ownership over how systems get built, how events get run, and how the organization presents itself to the world. Leadership is engaged and high-expectation, and will rely on you to keep things moving between touchpoints, flag what needs attention, and bring solutions rather than just problems.
You’ll thrive here if you:
take initiative without being asked, build structure where none exists, stay calm when priorities shift, care deeply about the mission, and find genuine satisfaction in doing whatever it takes to make something run well.
POSITION SUMMARY For now, the Director of Operations & Events is the sole staff member of the organization. This role is responsible for coordinating and executing the day-to-day operations, programmatic events, organizational infrastructure, and communications activities of the organization. Working in close coordination with PAC leadership and the Board of Directors, the Director of Operations & Events carries broad responsibility across all operational functions and must be comfortable building systems and processes in an environment that is still developing its infrastructure. This role requires someone who takes initiative, operates effectively with limited day-to-day supervision, and brings a problem-solving mindset to every aspect of the work.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Event and Program Management Coordinate and execute all aspects of the organization’s events and programs, from intimate strategic gatherings to large-scale donor and political events:
Assist in planning, organizing, and executing programs ranging from small strategic gatherings (∼10 attendees) to large donor briefings and political events of 100+, following direction from leadership on format, structure, timing, and approach
Manage all event logistics: coordinate venues, catering, and vendors; create, send, and manage invitations, RSVPs, signage, photography, and post-event follow-up; handle event-related errands including printing, order pickups, and supply runs
Prepare and maintain run-of-show documents and provide on-site logistical support during program execution
Serve as a point of contact for guest speakers and their staffs, including elected officials; support speaker preparation and briefing materials in coordination with the lobbying team and leadership
Maintain the program calendar and coordinate event scheduling in alignment with leadership direction
Prepare agendas and briefing materials; draft post-meeting summaries for leadership review
Organizational Infrastructure and Data Management Build and maintain the technology infrastructure and data systems that enable the organization to operate effectively and meet its compliance obligations as a registered PAC:
Maintain and update the organization’s data infrastructure under the direction of leadership, including data entry, recordkeeping, and system upkeep; identify gaps and propose improvements as the organization grows
Maintain systems for tracking donor communications, pledges, and contributions, and for tracking elected official contacts and legislative activity; gather and organize information needed to prepare campaign contribution disclosure reports
Manage CRM data integrity and accuracy, including regular audits to identify and resolve discrepancies (e.g., Little GreenLight, Salesforce, or similar)
Process pledge tracking, donation entry, and acknowledgment tasks in coordination with Democracy Engine
Segment contact lists for communications and events according to criteria established by leadership
Handle all donor and financial data with strict confidentiality; maintain recordkeeping systems that meet state and federal compliance requirements
Legislative Research and Political Affairs Support Provide research coordination and administrative support for the organization’s advocacy agenda:
As directed, conduct research on issues relevant to the organization’s policy agenda and compile findings for review by board members and the lobbying team
Assist in preparing talking points, PAC communication materials, and consistent messaging for board members’ interactions with elected officials, candidates, and key contacts
Travel regularly to the Georgia State Capitol during the legislative session to provide on-the-ground logistical and administrative support
Stakeholder Communications Support the organization’s external communications and donor engagement activities under the direction of leadership:
Support donor outreach and relationship cultivation activities, including drafting correspondence for leadership review

Draft, design, and distribute newsletters, event recaps, and announcements using platforms such as Canva and Mailchimp
Manage the organization’s photo, video, and press archives
Coordinate with designers and vendors on event materials and donor collateral
Operational Excellence and Compliance Maintain and build out the operational systems and compliance infrastructure that enable the organization to function legally and effectively:
Manage executive correspondence, scheduling, travel logistics, and office operations on behalf of PAC leadership
Generate regular operational reports for leadership and board meetings
Prepare agendas, take meeting minutes, and track follow-up actions for PAC Board meetings
Maintain organized filing systems and records in compliance with applicable state-level reporting requirements
Track contributions and expenditures in compliance with Georgia campaign finance law, including accurate categorization and documentation
Proactively identify operational gaps and propose solutions for the organization’s infrastructure continues to develop
QUALIFICATIONS Required
3–5 years of experience in operations, communications, event coordination, or a related field
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously with limited supervision in a fast-paced or resource-constrained environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience drafting external-facing materials and correspondence
Experience working with CRM or donor databases, including data entry and reporting
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and communications/design platforms (Canva, Mailchimp, or similar)
