A growing hospitality company is seeking a full‑time
Digital Marketing Director
to lead digital marketing, content creation, and eCommerce initiatives in the Washington, DC area. This role blends creative design with data‑driven strategy to increase online engagement and revenue. The organization is celebrated nationwide for its sophisticated blend of New American cuisine and innovative culinary design. For a creative professional, this role offers the rare opportunity to sit at the intersection of luxury hospitality and cutting‑edge digital strategy. Working out of the vibrant Alexandria area, the successful candidate will enjoy a fast‑paced, artistic environment where their visual storytelling and technical expertise directly impact a storied brand’s legacy.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage content across social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X, Pinterest, Google).
Design digital and print materials; create photo, video, and animation content.
Manage Google Performance Max campaigns and respond to online engagement.
Lead eCommerce strategy, website updates, SEO/SEM, and email marketing.
Track performance metrics and adjust campaigns to drive sales.
Align marketing with sales initiatives and participate in business development.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Design, or related field.
1–3 years’ experience in marketing, design, or eCommerce (hospitality a plus).
Proficient in Adobe Suite, Canva, WordPress, Google Analytics, and eCommerce tools (Shopify, Klaviyo, etc.).
Strong design, photography, and content writing skills.
Video editing and animation experience is a plus.
Local to the Washington DC area.
Organized, creative, and deadline‑driven.
Note: This position is onsite Mon‑Fri or Tues‑Sat, in their office near Alexandria.
Compensation: $80,000 – $95,000 base salary (commensurate with experience), bonus program, comprehensive medical package, 401(k), PTO, and more.
