In this role, you will oversee the rehabilitation department, ensuring high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and strong team performance. You will balance hands‑on patient care with program management, helping patients regain independence and improve their quality of life while supporting and mentoring your therapy team. Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of the rehabilitation department, including staffing, scheduling, and workflow management Provide direct occupational therapy services, including evaluations and treatment, as needed Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and facility regulations, including documentation and billing standards Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support patient functional outcomes Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans to maximize results Lead, mentor, and support therapy staff to maintain high performance and morale Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care and discharge planning Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements Manage departmental budgets, productivity standards, and performance metrics Requirements

Active California Occupational Therapist license Previous experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred (DOR or Assistant DOR experience a plus) Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and rehabilitation compliance standards Minimum of 1 year of recent OT experience Leadership growth and advancement opportunities Supportive team environment with strong clinical collaboration Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients and the community
