JR100118The **Software Developer** supports the development, maintenance, and optimization of AAL’s digital ecosystem, including websites, web applications, and integrations. The role ensures digital properties are secure, compliant, functional, and performance-driven.This role is the technical execution layer for AAL’s public-facing and data-integrated digital environment, directly impacting mission visibility and stakeholder engagement.**Responsibilities**
*Web Development & Maintenance** Develop and maintain AAL website(s) and digital properties (e.g., aal.army and approved URLs).* Build front-end and back-end functionality using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and related scripting technologies.* Ensure websites are fully functional, responsive, and aligned with AAL branding.*Application Development & Integration** Develop PHP applications and web forms.* Enable data transmission to third-party systems via APIs and XML/URL-based integrations.* Ensure high reliability of data flow and system interoperability.*Cybersecurity & Compliance** Ensure all digital assets meet security and compliance requirements.* Support vulnerability scanning and remediation.* Deploy only compliant applications with zero critical vulnerabilities.* Align development practices with DoD, NIST, and Army digital security expectations.*Digital Analytics & Performance Monitoring** Develop and maintain analytics dashboards using Google Analytics and Data Studio (or equivalent).* Generate performance reports for COR review.* Track website usage, engagement, and campaign performance.*Search Engine Optimization (SEO)** Implement SEO improvements (keywords, metadata, image optimization).* Monitor and adjust SEO strategy based on analytics insights.* Support monthly optimization efforts to improve discoverability.*Integration Support** Support integration through web-to-lead forms, campaign landing pages, and data synchronization processes.* Verify and manage data submissions and reporting workflows.*Digital Content Delivery Support** Develop and deploy landing pages, email templates, and campaign-related digital assets.* Ensure alignment with branding, messaging, and usability standards.*Performance Expectations (STD/AQL Alignment)** Security Compliance: 100% compliance with vulnerability scanning standards and zero critical vulnerabilities at deployment.* System Integration: ≥99% successful data transmission to third-party systems.* Reporting Timeliness: ≥95% of analytics reports delivered within five business days.* SEO Execution: ≥90% of planned SEO tasks completed monthly.* Data Accuracy: ≥98% accuracy in analytics dashboards.* Digital Deliverables: ≥95% first-pass acceptance for landing pages and email products.Performs other related duties as assigned.**Qualifications*** 3–8+ years of experience in web/software development.* Active Secret clearance required* IAT Level II Certification or higher level required (Security+ CE, etc.)* Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.* Experience with API integrations.* Experience with Google Analytics and Data Studio.* Experience with SEO best practices.* Experience with secure coding practices and vulnerability remediation.* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).* Familiarity with DoD / government web compliance.Diné Development Corporation (DDC) is a Navajo Nation owned family of companies that provides government agencies and commercial organizations with high-quality IT, professional, environmental, and research and development services.
