Responsibilities
Lead the Group, Transient, and Catering sales teams at the hotel, deploying business strategies designed to achieve annual budgets and crossover targets.
Oversee commercial strategies for Rooms, Catering and Events to maximize revenue streams.
Provide a cadence of predictive and prescriptive activities to drive performance.
Contribute to the hotel’s Annual Multi‑Year Strategic Intentions and Commercial Strategy in partnership with the hotel commercial leadership, regional sales, revenue, and marketing support.
Set strategy and delivery of sales targets across Direct Selling Revenue Streams including group rooms, banquets, catering, business transient, and leisure transient.
Ensure Business Review Guidelines and Group Pricing & Rate Quotation Strategies are implemented to maximize all pricing components.
Align sales activities with established optimal mix, contribute to accurate revenue forecasts, and execute demand‑period strategies for retail and group pricing targets.
Maximize profits in line with GOP and EBITDA targets while operating within the departmental expense budget.
Collaborate with commercial leaders to maintain knowledge of competitor and market activity.
Provide performance and commercial activity reporting, liaise with Hilton Worldwide Sales for demand and conversion generation, and build strong relationships with CVB and third‑party travel partners.
Engage with customers from all sales segments and support team site visits, pre‑convention meetings, and sales manager travel into market.
Qualifications
Minimum education: Bachelor’s Degree (preferred).
Minimum 3 years of hospitality sales & marketing leadership experience (preferred).
Minimum 3 years of cross‑functional experience in hotel management or related industry (preferred).
Advanced degree coursework in business administration, marketing, and communications (preferred).
Experience with business strategy, planning, and business plan development.
Fluency in multiple languages (preferred).
Experience across multiple brands (preferred).
Proficiency in Delphi FDC (preferred).
