## Description**Position Summary**The Lead Payments Specialist will be responsible for directing and administering the efforts of the Payments Department.

Ensures that established policies and procedures are followed.

Ensures that members are promptly and professionally served.

Trains, directs, and supervises Payments staff. Assists Payments personal as necessary. Performs miscellaneous clerical duties as required. Duties, responsibilities and activities may change or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice. This position has the potential for remote work based on management discretion. This position works in-office in Corinth, Texas for the first 90 days of employment. After 90 days, there is the potential to work from home on Mondays and Fridays. You will still work in-office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.**Key Responsibilities*** Lead daily operations of the Payments Department to ensure timely, accurate processing.* Supervise, train, and support Payments staff.* Ensure compliance with Credit Union policies and regulatory requirements, including BSA.* Implement and maintain Payments procedures and process improvements.* Coordinate workflows with other departments and communicate updates to management.* Prepare activity reports and recommend operational enhancements.* Manage department resources, supplies, and expenses.* Maintain a clean, organized work environment and assist with clerical tasks as needed.* Maintain reliable attendance and work extended hours when required.**What We Offer*** Competitive pay based on experience* Comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, 401(k), etc.)* Paid time off and company holidays* Opportunities for professional growth and advancement* Supportive, collaborative work environment## Qualifications**Required Qualifications*** At least 5 years of related experience in a financial institution, with a minimum of 2 years of supervisory or equivalent experience* Understanding of payment processes including but not limited to ACH, Bill Pay, Wire Transfers, Drafts, and ITM operations* Thorough knowledge of Credit Union services and products* Understanding related legal and regulatory requirements* Familiarity with accounting functions, policies, and procedures* Understanding of the Federal Reserve Banking System* High School Diploma or GED certificate**Competencies*** Excellent communication skills and willingness to assist others* Professional appearance, dress, and attitude* Good analytical and problem-solving abilities* Ability to maintain an effective and efficient workflow* Strong communication and telephone skills* Well organized and detail oriented* Excellent organizational and time management skills* Ability to analyze complex financial reports, identify discrepancies, and make recommendations for improvements* Ability to operate related computer applications and business equipmentEqual Opportunity Employer / Veterans / DisabledBilingual a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
