
Strategist II - Data Analytics

The Strategist II - Data Analytics focus position turns insights into action and plays a key role in delivering measurable results for our clients. This position supports the integration of data analytics and design research across our architectural, interior design, and advisory services. Our Minneapolis studio is seeking a candidate with a strong background in these areas and a passion for translating data into meaningful, actionable outcomes.
Responsibilities
Uses enhanced knowledge of project complexity to proactively contribute to the overall success of the team by adhering to firm and project goals and standards of excellence in design, execution, and living design.
This role helps translate data and evidence‑based research into actionable insights that inform design strategy, client decision‑making, and organizational performance.
Builds and maintains dashboards and visualizations (Power BI) for client‑facing and internal use; Revit/AutoCAD is a bonus.
Translates complex datasets into clear, compelling visual narratives that support strategic, operational, financial, and facility‑based insights.
Prepares materials for client presentations.
Assists in developing conceptual design strategies and design criteria to empower and challenge our integrated design teams on their solutions.
Gains knowledge of interior design phases from pre‑design through construction.
Collaborates with design teams to evaluate design options based on client‑driven criteria.
Develops and facilitates data collection through interviews, focus groups, end‑user surveys, observation, and post‑occupancy evaluation.
Objectively manages and analyzes collected data through processes such as dashboards and visualizations.
Experiences applying statistical concepts such as correlation, regression, and descriptive statistics.
Prepares and supports change management documentation.
Assists with survey design, data collection, and analysis for pre‑ and post‑occupancy evaluations (POEs) to assess whether design intent is achieving desired outcomes.
Analyzes and synthesizes project data to help demonstrate design effectiveness and inform future planning and design decisions.
Gains knowledge of workplace trends and practices.
Uses a creative approach to complete tasks and responsibilities on projects, within the scope of schedule and budget, in an organized, timely, and consistent way.
Self‑checks work for accuracy, omissions, legibility, and for document compliance.
Expresses curiosity about the world of design and the industry at large.
Takes increasing ownership on tasks within project teams and studio activities.
Participates and collaborates in design reviews, charrettes, and pin‑ups.
