Overview

The Digital Marketing Manager will advance HALO USA's objective to grow Digital Fundraising and private philanthropic revenue. The role plans and manages digital direct marketing activity focused on recruiting new regular givers, driving digital donor acquisition, newsletter growth, and engagement across online channels. The position supports the regular giving program against targets and contributes to the wider fundraising strategy. Reports to the Senior Philanthropy Manager, Annual Giving & Campaigns at HALO Trust USA. This is a dynamic opportunity for a creative, resourceful, and results-driven marketer to build and execute digital marketing plans and fundraising campaign strategies. The role will expand HALO’s brand in the US, grow digital fundraising reach, and use analytics to optimize performance. Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute creative marketing campaigns to acquire new donors through digital channels, lead generation, newsletter signups, paid ads, and partnerships, expanding HALO’s philanthropic reach. Track fundraising campaign performance using analytics and reporting tools to measure ROI, donor engagement, and conversion; use insights to inform decision-making and optimize future campaigns. Provide analyses and recommendations on digital fundraising strategies, donor audience segmentation, and content creation for various digital platforms. Create and deliver regular acquisition campaigns from start to finish, using data-led insights to build propositions and conversion journeys with a focus on user experience and recruiting high-quality, long-term donors. Collaborate with HALO USA Communications to align on comms calendar activities, key dates, campaigns, program content, and evolving priorities. With guidance from the Senior Philanthropy Manager, develop and implement multi-channel marketing strategies for annual fundraising campaigns to support philanthropy goals. Create and test new, data-led regular giving propositions based on audience research and results; monitor and influence donor journeys to ensure strong retention rates. Use Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, agency reports, and HALO CRM to track and report results against targets. Plan and manage digital fundraising appeals and impact storytelling campaigns across email, website, and social media. Provide regular expertise to guide decisions and execution of paid digital media across the organization. Content Development and Production

Develop concepts for and produce donor-centric content, including email campaigns, impact stories, and fundraising landing pages. Create segmented messaging for key donor groups (active, lapsed, recurring, etc.) to ensure a strong donor journey focused on impact and gratitude. Test and monitor performance data of content and subject lines to inform and refine messaging strategies. Project Development and Management

Oversee timelines, production schedules, and vendor relationships. Manage vendor relationships and Developer/IT Systems staff. Collaborate with the UK Digital Communications and Marketing team as needed. Manage campaign budgets, performance tracking, and reporting. Support the Senior Philanthropy Manager on monthly management accounts, ensuring income and spending are correct and coded appropriately. Prepare KPI reports for US leadership and the US Board of Directors. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in marketing (digital) and 7+ years in digital marketing, communications, for sales, revenue, charity and/or political fundraising campaigns. Proven success managing multi-channel cause-oriented marketing campaigns and regular giving recruitment via paid marketing channels, with strong campaign management skills. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders. Ability to assess and optimize campaign performance by analyzing data trends and KPIs to monitor and predict performance. Experience developing and implementing acquisition campaigns and supporter journeys with effective content utilization. Knowledge of PPC, SEO, digital analytics platforms, data capture, monitoring, and tracking to improve digital performance. Excellent copywriter with experience crafting compelling direct marketing copy for adverts and journeys. Experience using Meta Business Suite to create and monitor campaigns. Excellent communicator with strong relationship-building skills internally and externally. Highly self-organized, process-driven, proactive, and detail-oriented. Experience managing suppliers and agencies and coordinating multiple stakeholders. Proficient in databases and Microsoft Office, especially Excel, for supporter management and reporting. Ability to multitask and prioritize a demanding workload; creative thinker with awareness of digital marketing trends. Experience managing junior staff and developing talent. Proficient in email marketing platforms (e.g., MailChimp, DotDigital) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Looker). Experience managing social media accounts and ads for audience growth and donor acquisition. Familiarity with Canva, InDesign, large listservs, contact databases, and video editing tools is a plus. Applicant must hold U.S. citizenship. Position: Full-time, Exempt | Salary range: $85,000 - $95,000 Vacation Time: 25 days (5 weeks) PTO accrued monthly. Sick Leave: 5 days paid; not carried over. Holidays: HALO USA observes USA Federal holidays. 401(k): HALO matches up to 5% of employee contributions. Health Insurance: HALO pays a portion of the premium for participating employees.
