Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a committed follower of Jesus Christ who takes initiative, works independently, and thrives in a collaborative, shared‑leadership environment. They must be a relational leader capable of building trusting, caring relationships with children, youth, and adult volunteers. Key Responsibilities
Sustain and enrich the Kidventure and MYC programs to facilitate the growth of students as disciples. Coordinate and lead a variety of youth events, camps, and service‑learning trips. Recruit, train, supervise, and support adult volunteers and student leaders. Provide visionary and administrative leadership that promotes intergenerational relationships within the church. Communicate effectively with church staff, the congregation, and the broader community via multiple platforms. Devote approximately one‑third of efforts to other congregational needs such as sound/livestream technology, bookkeeping, or local missions. Qualifications
Evidence of training and experience in ministry to children and youth. Personal spiritual commitment to serving Jesus Christ in all areas of life. Willingness to be guided by the governance and theology of the PC(USA). Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred. Experience in secondary areas such as sound/livestream technology, bookkeeping, or building management is a plus.
