Part Time Video Editor and Motion Designer
The Pekoe Group is an award-winning, fast paced, full-service advertising agency in NYC, working with the city's top Broadway shows, Off‑Broadway shows, and restaurants.
We are seeking a Part Time Video Editor and Motion Designer to join our team.
This role will work within the Creative department to deliver short and long‑form video for the agency’s clients, including social media content, digital advertising, and more.
Responsibilities
Creating engaging and exciting short and long‑form videos, with a mix of video footage and motion graphics
Delivering finalized videos optimized for a variety of platforms and media, including social media (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc), digital advertising, digital outdoor displays, and more
Collaborating with Video Editors, Designers, and other internal teams to bring projects from concept to completion
Ensuring videos align with creative briefs, client preferences/branding, and making edits as needed from Accounts and internal teams
Maintaining project timelines and staying on track to meet deadlines, with flexibility for urgent/short notice requests and changes
Qualifications
At least 1 year of experience within an advertising agency or similar experience in video production
Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro and the Adobe Creative Cloud suite (strong knowledge and proficiency with Adobe After Effects and Photoshop a plus)
The ability to work well as part of a team
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
A high level of organization and attention to detail
The ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment
A positive attitude and ability to adapt and be flexible with systems, procedures and personalities
Excitement and curiosity about the theatre industry
Schedule 20-25 hours per week
Compensation $35 per hour
