Real Estate Services Agent 1

As part of HDR's Power sector, you will help shape how electricity is generated, transmitted, and delivered as global energy demands grow. You’ll work side‑by‑side with our engineers and scientists to maintain reliable, resilient, and sustainable power systems and support communities and industries.
Responsibilities
Provide pre‑negotiation due diligence and non‑complex negotiations for acquisition of rights for public or private projects.
Review appraisals and just compensation; verify parcels on right‑of‑way plans or plats; confirm property owners and interests; prepare offer packages; maintain complete records files with owner contacts, maps, drawings, exhibits, and detailed progress reports.
Perform other duties as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
Available to travel anywhere in southwestern MN.
Real‑estate license in good standing, or equivalent, as required by law.
Database and GIS familiarity.
Required Qualifications
At least 1 year experience in real estate or 120 hours of documented real‑estate training.
Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and regulations in the real‑estate and right‑of‑way industry, such as the Uniform Act, FERC and NEPA.
Proficient with standard technology tools such as Microsoft Office and Project.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, and ability to work flexible hours and with people of all types.
Ability to work confidently with clients, property owners and occupants.
Effectively balance office and field work in a collaborative and deadline‑sensitive manner.
Availability to work flexible hours and coordinate closely with management.
