
Senior Director, People Operations Innovation & Systems

Position Summary The Senior Director, People Operations Innovation & Systems is a strategic, systems-oriented leader responsible for transforming how the People function operates at BridgeBio. Reporting to the Head of People, this individual will architect and lead a lean, high-impact team focused on workflow optimization, technology enablement, and automation across all People Centers of Excellence. This leader will design the next generation of People operations—removing friction, reducing tier-one administrative work through intelligent automation, and creating an integrated, tech-forward ecosystem that enables People Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Community & Culture, and Total Rewards to operate at peak performance.
Mission To design and build a scalable, intelligent People operations infrastructure that improves how work gets done across BridgeBio. By optimizing workflows, deploying advanced systems, and embedding automation into daily operations, this role enables the broader People Team—and the entire organization—to move faster, focus on higher-value work, and deliver an exceptional employee and manager experience during a pivotal stage of company growth.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end redesign of core People workflows across the employee lifecycle (hire to retire).
Identify friction points, redundancies, and manual tier-one processes and replace them with streamlined, tech-enabled solutions.
Develop and own a comprehensive 18–24 month People technology and workstream roadmap aligned to company growth and commercialization needs.
Evaluate, select, implement, and optimize tools that maximize efficiency and insight across the People function.
In partnership with IT, design and implement an intelligent Bot solution to eliminate tier-one administrative work across all People COEs.
Establish metrics to track automation impact, time saved, productivity gains, and user adoption.
Build and lead a nimble, high-performing team focused on systems, automation, and process innovation.
Serve as the primary People partner to IT for systems architecture, automation, integrations, and security.

Tier-one People inquiries significantly reduced through automation and intelligent self-service.
People Business Partners and COE leaders spending more time on strategic impact versus administrative work.
A clear, prioritized People technology roadmap delivered on time and within budget.

A People function recognized as highly efficient, forward-thinking, and scalable.
Qualifications
12+ years of progressive experience in People Operations, HR Transformation, Systems, or Enterprise Process Innovation.
Proven success leading HR technology strategy and workflow redesign in high-growth biotech, pharma, or life sciences environments.
Demonstrated experience implementing automation, AI-enabled workflows, or enterprise bot solutions.
Strong systems thinker with the ability to design interconnected, scalable operating models.
Experience building and leading lean, high-impact teams.
Deep familiarity with HRIS ecosystems (Workday preferred), ATS, learning systems, analytics platforms, and integration architecture.
Strong change management and executive stakeholder engagement capability.
Salary $247,800 – $282,800 USD
