
Senior IS Business Analyst

Summary
The Senior IS Business Analyst will work at Martin Marietta’s Raleigh, NC headquarters under the direction of the Enterprise Applications Manager and will be part of the Enterprise Applications strategy and delivery excellence team. This individual will be a key liaison with the business in the areas of Accounting (Fixed Assets, AR, AP, GL, Credit and Tax), with the emphasis on Fixed Assets and Job Costing. The primary focus of this role will be to design, develop and deliver business solutions through understanding the current and future needs of the business partners. Responsibility includes partnering with stakeholders to achieve sustainable productivity through a collaborative and consultative approach. Work with other team members and Analysts in other functional areas within IS applications, such as Sales and Distribution, Procurement, service delivery and infrastructure, to support the successful deployment of the solution.
Worksite Raleigh, NC (4 days in-office/1 day remote allowed per week; 5 days required in-office starting 9/1/26).
Responsibilities
Ability to work with the business partners and help them envision the solution value, and how it will benefit the business in the longer term
Able to understand the solution and the domain/industry well
Subject matter expert in understanding the customer's requirements and are able to suggest alternatives to better the solution and alleviate the challenge/issue being addressed
Efficiently lead a team of consultants and developers and effectively work with other business units in the company in the creation of the solution
Manage, scope and deliver projects and enhancements in the areas responsible for
Partner with other analysts, developers and other IS functions on all critical system solutions
Follow all SDLC standard documentation for functional and technical designs, test plans and execution
Ensure project execution excellence
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology is required
At least 7 years in JDE Packages consulting/solution architecture experience
Minimum 7 years of experience configuring and maintaining JDE Fixed Assets module including creating assets, configuring depreciation rules and running depreciation and disposals
Minimum 7 years of experience in specifying and supporting interfaces between external legacy systems and JDE E1 applications
Minimum 7 years of experience in developing detailed functional requirements for reports, interfaces, conversions and enhancements as they relate to JDE E1 applications
At least 5 years of exposure to end-to-end business processes
At least 3 full lifecycle implementations of JDE Finance Modules – (Fixed Assets, Job Cost, AR, AP, GL, Inventory Accounting, Multi Currency and General Accounting), Vertex, EDI and interfaces
Minimum 4 years of experience with other JDE Modules (CAM, Service and Warranty, Sales and Distribution, Procurement)
