About the Opportunity:
The
Associate Information Designer
at LINK partners with clients across diverse industries to transform complex ideas into clear, compelling visual narratives. This role translates data and abstract concepts into engaging visual formats—including prototypes, wireframes, infographics, charts, and diagrams—designed for effective communication across print and digital platforms.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design, Animation, Visual Journalism, Visual Communications, or a related field
4-5 years of experience in graphic design or a related role (developing short engaging videos, images, posters, infographics, digital signage)
Must have experience with Adobe Pro and/or Final Cut Pro
Secret Clearance preferred
Strong expertise in information design, with a passion for creating visual stories and working with data to deliver impactful solutions
Well-versed in a variety of design areas (e.g., experience design, brand development, information design, graphic design) to propose and develop the best solutions for each project
Highly motivated to solve end‑user challenges, meet stakeholder needs, and achieve business goals
Exceptional organizational skills, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
Capable of meeting deadlines and adapting to changing requirements
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and able to lead clients and teams to clarity around requirements
Approaches work with optimism, openness to new ideas, and a collaborative mindset
Responsibilities
Strategic Visual Problem Solving: Partner with a cross‑functional team to understand client challenges and co‑create compelling visual solutions tailored to the right audiences
Conceptualize, process, and produce audio, video, animations, and interactive multimedia material for a variety of audiences and platforms
Use design to address complex organizational, consumer, technical, warfighter, and taxpayer problems
Translate quantitative data and abstract concepts into clear infographics, charts, diagrams, presentations, and digital/print visual products
Develop information hierarchies and frameworks that enhance navigability, comprehension, and retention
Collaborate effectively with internal and external teams, confidently working within complex environments
Prototype visually in real time to explore and refine ideas
Work iteratively, proactively seeking and incorporating feedback from partners and clients to continuously improve solutions
Design branding systems or adhere to established guidelines to create cohesive, client‑specific visual identities
Bring curiosity, creativity, and an open mindset to every engagement
(Preferred) Develop scripts, storyboards, audio edits, and motion graphics to enhance storytelling and engagement
Work Schedule
Full time, 40 hours per week
In‑person time with the client is required (up to 5 days a week)
Some travel required to meet with prospects/clients, attend relevant events and conferences, and participate in LINK team events
Salary We are committed to offering competitive compensation and the salary range for this position is
$60,251-$70,251 .
